Alister is a successful London-based advertising photographer, who has shot many high profile campaigns, including those for British Airways, Jaguar Land Rover and Samsung. He is also an expert portrait photographer with recent commissions including the Prime Minister. But Alister’s secret passion is for gardens, trees and plants. This website is designed to showcase his growing portfolio of beautiful work in this area and to demonstrate his exceptional use of light and innate understanding of his subject matter. Alister undertakes both advertising and editorial commissions, employing his well-trained eye to deliver consistently strong and authentic imagery.

What to expect from a shoot
Alister will provide a carefully edited selection of images. These will include overviews, details, plant groupings, close ups and hard landscaping features. Everything required to fulfil the brief.
Images supplied as high resolution rgb tiff files (for print usage) and low resolution jpeg files (for web & social media usage).
Secure image delivery via We Transfer Pro and an online viewing platform to facilitate image selection.
Additional services
Alister is a qualified drone pilot with the correct permissions in place to operate in specific environments. He can arrange shoot-by-shoot insurance and the images that he captures can be used commercially. He is also an experienced retoucher.
