LAS POZAS - Mexico
The surrealist garden of Edward James in Xilitia, Mexico.
On 28th January 2022, I had the pleasure of visiting Las pozas in Xilitia, Mexico. The morning was wet, atmospheric and unusually quiet. There was no one there.
These surreal concrete structures blend effortlessly into the environment. This is a sensory experience.
The jungle is slowly reclaiming this extraordinary garden and that is precisely what Edward James wanted.
